I'd say New Zealand. South Africa should not even be on the list as they became a republic over 40 years ago. For this same reason it is nonsense to say America is loyal to the monarchy. Canada was the first to get rid of certain British customs - appeals to the British courts, use of British titles, having diplomatic representation in London, appointment of British governors general (Australia was first with Isaac Isaacs but went back and forth between Australians and Brits). Canada's previous governor general tried to marginalise the monarchy, thinking of herself as head of state rather than the representative of head of state, and Canada has a large French population with no real ties to the monarchy. Since Australia has a large republican movement, I wd say NZ.

a million. The British Empire is long previous. 2. Canada is not a British Dominion, it shares a Queen the two with Britain. Britain and Canada are solid allies, yet Britain not has any political potential over Canada. 3. The Queen, as Queen of Canada, has been warmly welcomed by Canadians as consistently.

Canada is, and has always been, the most loyal. Australia absolutely hates the Monarchy.

By the way, Rod C, do your homework. USA is not a member of the Commonwealth--and they have not "saved their butts"--they have interfered where they were not wanted--typical policy of the American government.
