nope...I'm 19 and I don't drink...I have no desire to :)

if you feel the need to drink (though I don't really see why you need to at your age)...just be careful!...just because everyone else drinks doesn't mean you should too :)

I starterd drinking at 17 and the legal age to drink where I live is 21. Yes, it is a bad idea to drink at such an early age mainly because younger drinkers tend to drink too much too fast, which can lead to alcohol poisoning.
Also, your body is still developing and may not be ready to handle a high level of alcohol intake. Alcohol can make you feel silly and uninhibited. You may feel more confident, comfortable or relaxed, and then as the alcohol leaves your system you feel drowsy and sleepy. This can lead to drinking more alcohol to keep your "buzz" going.
Alcohol also messes with your ability to control your muscles, mind, and mouth. It blocks the messages going through your brain, and changes your perceptions and emotions. It affects your eyesight, hearing, coordination and reactions, making it difficult to act how you normally would. You could also experience a bad hangover afterwards, which can result from your body being dehydrated by the alcohol...not to mention any throwing up that might occur if you drink too much, drink on an empty stomach, etc.
Bottom line...I'm sure you and I are not the only ones who have had some type of alcohol while underage, but it really isn't a good idea. It really isn't even all it's cracked up to be...just wait until you're allowed (legally) to do so.

im 16 (from the UK) and i started drinking when i was 14, maybe even 13, but nothing heavy just the odd WKD lol but then i only got properly drunk when i was 15 and it was an extremely bad experience. believe me there is no need to drink. all my mates drink and altho u feel left out...it feels good to know that u know what u are doing compared to theose who dont. Just dont drink because u feel u need to. drink in ur own time. take it as u want to. for exapmle i dont drink fizzy alcohol like beer n alcopops because i simply do not like the taste of alcohol. i think it tastes disgusting however i found that the taste of baileys is nice so if i feel like i want some alcohol i will have a measure of that. just please dont drink because u feel u have to. there is no need. i do get drunk now, but that is only because i choose to. also alcohol (especially beer) is fattening. believe me the people that are worth knowing will respect u more for not drinking and sticking to ur morals and not being led by the crowd. hope that helps.... :D

so are you not seeing the part where they act like idiots or are they that way all the time?
I had my first drink when I was 16. my mom let me have some beers and what not. When I found myself in a bar at 19 and on a weekday, I stopped. Yes it is that bad.
You're better off not drinking at all. I don't, not anymore and not for a very long time.

I did drink when I was underage.
There is nothing wrong with drinking, the thing is, alcohol affects people differently.
Some people are "social drinkers", and can handle it, other people have different metabolisms, and get very drunk.
A lot of drunk people do or say things they either regret or don't remember later, and that is the problem.

When I was 20, I met and dated a guy who was 34 and he introduced me to wine. I'm in my late twenties now and married, and I still have a passion for it to this day. But 14 is a little young to be drinking anything...so be careful.

you ought to set barriers and guidelines with youthful ones even as they're youthful, and communicate about drugs even as they're youthful. in the adventure that they try, no huge deal merely enable them now that there is distinction between attempting something and repeated use. in the adventure that they proceed to apply alcohol or drugs anyhow, inspire them to not in any respect use regulary, no longer use not ordinary drugs, etc. common as "damage relief". communicate about to them how drugs are affecting their lives. Be supportive of adolescents who use and help them locate something more effective.
