As long as no one else can claim you as a dependent, YES. *Everyone* gets a personal exemption. The only question is who gets to take it.

You can't claim yourself as a dependent if thats what you're asking. Just file as single.

(your parents...if they have contributed to more than 1/2 of your total support).
