Under the hood, if you are standing in front of the vehicle and look at the engine oil valve, the oil filter would be little toward you but to the left of oil valve. There is another valve that is to the right probably 3-4 inches from the Oil filter. The valve is half covered by the engine cover plastic and cant be opened until the plastic engine cover is removed, I need to know what is that valve for and what oil goes in it... Please help.

My E-320 should have the same engine as your ML320. My oil filter is on the right side of the engine toward the rear, near the firewall. The engine oil filler cap is on the top of the engine and is made of black plastic. I am not sure what you mean by the OIL VALVE. Is this a small brass valve in an oil line? I see a small brass valve in the fuel line about mid engine on the right side. Maybe your engine is different from my '95 model E-320? Where exactly is your oil leak?

If by "valve" you mean "cap", then what you're looking at is probably the central hydraulic reservoir, which feeds the suspension and power steering. It takes a special hydraulic oil that I've only been able to find at Mercedes dealers, at a very high price.

Like "Philip S" said: I'm not sure what other oil thing is there. Could it be the hydraulic oil thing (ATF for power steering/transmission)?I think I need to take a look out the different layouts for the Mercedes 3.2 V6 when its in an E/S/C-Class compared to when its in an ML-Class. Before I can really identify what it is you're on about.

that would desire to be the three.2 liter engine, the oil filter out is up astounding on the final facet in the front. while changing the oil, one might desire to replace each and all of the gaskets. each and every so often the gasket seal on the hide isn't seated/put in properly, this might reason a leak yet an exceptionally surely repaired one.
