When do stretch marks typically appear in pregnancy if you are going to get them? What month/week of pregnancy?

This all depends on the woman. Some women never get them (as I avoided with my first three children) Some women get them near the end of their second trimester. (28-32 weeksish)
This time around, I got my very first one at 13 weeks, but I am carrying twins.
I would suggest using lotion from the moment you know you are pregnant to help protect the elasticity of your skin. (Don't forget your breasts!) I did this religiously with my first three kids and "beat the beast..." Lol..
This time I wasn't so lucky lol. good luck

I'm not positive but I imagine it varies. I really can't say for myself since I had stetch marks before preganancy. I lost & gained weight a lot all through my teen & early 20's which was the reason for my stretch marks. But I do know for a fact that some women get them worse than others so I imagine the time varies also. I also think that your gene make-up may have something to do with it too. Both of my daughters already have s. marks but no pregnancies.

I think it all depends on the person, some get none at all. I noticed mine at 22 weeks. They are all below the belly so I didn't even know I had them until I was at a hotel and they had a full size mirror, I was shocked! LOL, oh well small price to pay for a precious little baby!

They can appear during any rapid growth. I would say that during the second trimester this is most likely to occur, although they can appear on other parts of the body before that; breasts, thighs, buttocks, ect.

I know they make loads of products to prevent stretch marks. I used several and none of them worked for me. I still got them on my stomach. They did soothe the itching though.

I got a few and mine didn't rear their ugly heads until about week 30-32. I was so excited that I didn't have any and then one day I got out of the shower and was putting on lotion and there they were. Just got a couple on my sides and a couple on my legs, nothing huge or that unsightly. My son is now 5 months old and they have faded nicely

it doesnt happen at a certain time, just when you start to show, and since every woman shows at differnt times in their pregnancy, you can never know. You could get lucky and not get any stretch marks.

i noticed my first one around 35 weeks. but then once i got that one, it was like they multiplying.... now my belly (which is big for me because i never had a belly like this before, but i guess would be small compared to some pregnant ladys) is just COVERED with stretch marks.... some people say its in the genes, which is partly true... my sister never got any while pregnant with either child... my mom got ALOT and she got them very early on..... me i got alot but not until very late...

it all depends. i just started my 8th month and just started getting stretch marks at the end of last month. it all depends on how big you get and how quickly. theres no way to prevent them, the good thing is that they fade so even if theyre purple or very noticable now, they fade to the same color as your skin so even if you get them, theyre totally normal.

It can happen any time, usually in the 2nd or 3rs trimester. I know woman that got them a week prior to delivery, That is surely a bummer!
