... by treating his law office as a corporation.

Now the IRS is trying to close what is called the "John Edwards Loophole."

Do you ever get to use this loophole?

Do you go around saying how much you and your party care about the poor while crapping on our senior citizens?

Do you then say everyone else needs to pay more taxes?

Are your supporters stupid enough to worship you when you screw our grandparents?

its people like Edwards and his ambulance chasing office that has created an extreme deficiency in obstetricians. He banked millions of dollars on faulty science (or clairvoyance) that now costs most OBGYNS $100,000 to $200,000 a year to cover them selves forcing 1000s of doctors out of practice and raising insurance costs across the board. Yet he says we need national health care because it has gotten too expensive... stacking the deck for you agenda much john?

Where in the world do you get such information? If John Edwards had done the things that you ascribe to him they would certainly be in the national news. His opponents would be having a field day with this type of dirty laundry. Why have I not read of such chicanery or heard of it on TV?
Quite a few law offices have many attornies working for the group, if it was not illegal for the group to call themselves a corporation; then he did nothing wrong. If the IRS has found this to be a "loophole" that needs to be closed, fine. But this is not to say that he broke any law since there was no law against what he did at the time.

Since when did people become stupid . Was it today of last month or when exactly .
People with money do not like to part with it and the more you make the more loopholes you can take advantage of .
If Edwards invented this loophole himself and put it into the law and was the only one able to use it then I could agree he is a thief . Since however that is not the case and many others use every possible method to avoid paying taxes like everyone in America ,he is like the rest of us .
Admit it ,if you where not forced to pay taxes would you .
