The Foo wrote all songs on the album, In Your Honor, including Best Of You. Personally, I think Prince should stick to Pop & leave Rock for those who know how to rock!

Foo Fighters wrote it. Interestingly, Foo Fighters did a cover of Prince's "Darling Nikki" - a song that, due to Prince's current religious stance, he would likely never do live anymore.

Prince was not too charmed with the Foo Fighters covering one of his songs. Prince got back at them by covering Best of You, preceded by the classic All along the Watchtower.
Watchtower was originally a Bob Dylan song, but after Jimi Hendix covered it, the song will always be remembered by Jimi Hendix' version. By starting with Watchtower, Prince put his cover of Best of You in that context, suggesting that from now on that song will be remembered by his interpretation. And his version rocks!!! Prince pulled a Jimi on the Foo Fighters

It was the foo fighters but prince just sang it at the VI superbowl so dont get them mixed up!
