Neither school is particularly impressive (not in the top 20) but I am contemplating a MBA from either of these two schools.

The ASU program, the public school, ironically is 2x as expensive as the Ottawa Univ. program.

Is the ASU program worth the extra cost?

Is a degree from either school more desirable than the other?

Well, ASU has broader name recognition than Ottawa University. Is either program AACSB accredited? That's a very desirable type of MBA accrediation, so if one is, I'd go with that school. If neither are, then go with the one that has the better reputation in the location you plan to work in after graduation. But there may be other factors. If you are Christian, and religion is very important for you, then that may lead you to look closer at Ottawa U.

But in general terms, if all else is equal, I'd go with ASU for the name alone.
