Like even if someone has a degree but is working a position that has no growth potential, are you a loser? If you live in an apt with no ability to get a house for some years, does this make you one?

No to both questions. If you are a loser, you wouldn't even have a job.. and if you were a loser, you sure wouldn't have the money to keep an apartment. These are people that are at least out there trying to make a life for themselves.
Losers don't try to do anything...

p.s. have you checked Real Estate prices lately, I'm amazed anyone can afford a house these days.

I consider a loser as someone who has the resources to get ahead, succeed, but doesn't use those resources put before them. In sports or competition if someone just completely gives up without fighting till the end they are considered losers; but if someone works very hard, fights till the end, and pushes with all their might but comes up short, I wouldn't consider those people as losers in my book.

I consider someone a loser if they aspire to nothing, in their personal life or work. And expect others to provide for them.

The guy who wrote the book Heather Has 5 Husbands is certainly not a loser.

Someone who never wins is....a loser.

Are you a loser if you have an advanced degree but are happier where you are? HELL NO! Youre smarter than the majority of people that slave through a job they hate for nothing more than a paycheck.

Screw what anyone else thinks of you.

A loser does more damage than good. Adolf Hitler was a loser. Mother Teresa was a winner.

have 2 college degrees and still made no money. there are people who took advantage of my generous nature and lied to me to get what they wanted and then said " goodbye. " for all of the problems I have always managed to survive but still I consider myself a loser.

i would say a loser is a person that could have had family, friends, job, home. but threw it all away for drug addiction, alcohol or a life of crime. or too lazy to get off their butt to accomplish a life. you are not a loser...not even close.
