when I type in the web address www.myspace.com nothing happens

Doesn't anyone search their questions before asking? This is about the 100th time someone asked this today!!!!!
Try this:
Start > Control Panel > Network Connections > right click your LAN connection and left click Repair.
Also, clear your history, cookies, and temporary internet files in Internet Options.
Now try again.
A lot of people are having trouble getting on myspace. There could be a problem with the site itself.

well... having said what you said in your question details do you actually have a myspace login? (if you don't then duh)
but anyway, ignoring what you said in your question details, i had the same problem with friendster. let's see if this works for myspace. when i was using IExplorer i couldn't login at all, so i downloaded Mozilla Firefox and started using it as my default internet browser. try that once.

Many of my friends and I have had issues logging in as well, we think it maybe that myspace is having technical issues. all i can say is keep trying
