I have decided that this year I have outdone myself and there is no way that I will ever be able to beat this.
Right now I am living in germany and my boyfriend is living in Scotland. So we decided that we woudl meet somwwhere for Valentines. Cheap flights have led us to Dublin, but we couldnt get there until the week after valentines, so I have concocted a treasure hunt for him.
It tooks loads of work, but now all I have to do is sit back and relax!!!
I got in touch with a bunch of his friends and a bunch of mine, and I have sent them all postcards with a riddle onthe back. Each clue send Brad to the next person, working all the way through to the days we leave. The final clue and his winning certificate being in the caable hands of his flatmate. So Brad wil have gone around Aberdeen collecting all of these postcards and suck likes, when really. Its jusy for a silly certificate and a letter from me... which was in his flat the whole time!!!
I really hope it works. I really do.
I dont really know how I though of it either, it just kind of happened!
Anyway, it is the type of thing he will think is cute, so fingers crossed everyhting is going to go to plan!!

I made reservations at a great, new, chic Fondue restaurant. I'm really excited about it. A co-worker told me it's a great place or a date. Very romantic! While my boyfriend isn't really into trying new things on his own, he trusts my judgment and made the reservation. I've so far been able to get him to try a few new things that he now loves. We have to celebrate V-Day on Saturday b/c he has to work on Wednesday. Which is fine with me b/c I get to have him all day uninterrupted!

On V-Day, I have planned a couples massage at the local day spa. So a soak in the jacuzzi first, followed be a side by side massage. After I made reservations at a really good steak house restaurant.

well its my 35th birthday so my partner and i are taking the kids and my mum who my partner loves out for a meal in the afternoon for my birthday, then at night just the 2 of us can cuddle up on sofa with nice bottle of wine and a film and spend some quality time together. sheer bliss

I will be on a shopping trip with my daughter as it's half term. I have decided not to send any valentine cards this year just to ruffle a few feathers.

find out where there is a local performance of the Vagina Monologues... it's a great celebration of being a woman. (unfortunately I live in a country where explicit talks about girly parts are rather taboo so probly I won't get to catch VM this year)

my wife is heavily pegnant so I am giving her a day of pampering, have booked her in for a mum to be package at a nice beauty salon and then have arrange for her to get her hair done before she comes home to the house all tidy, kids settled and a nice tea waiting for her. of course she will get the flowers and choccies too.
