Yes. I currently live in the U.S.A whilst my family are back home in Australia. I haven't seen any family members in years and it gets very lonely....especially around the holidays, that's when I feel it the most.

I am planning on returning to my native country either this year or next year at the very latest.

I like it alot over here and have met alot of wonderful people but, I can't wait until I'm back on Aussie soil....one very homesick girl right here.

We did for a few years. We saw them on all the major holiday's. We always had to drive to their house though. That made Christmas for our kids sort of tricky with Santa and all, but we managed OK.
We lived 6 hours away. My brother lives in Las Vegas - 3 day drive - I'm not exactly sure how long a flight. He comes home maybe 1 time a year and my parents fly out to see him 1 or 2 times a year. So it depends on how far away.

I live in the US and my parents live in Haiti. I reside with my uncle and trust me he is not what you can refer to as "family". Last time I saw my mother it was in July 06 I will probably see her again this coming June. Basically, we see each other once a year for about 2 weeks.
