I had been on the pill for 4 years and have been off for 3 months ttc, but have not been succesful yet. How long does it generally take before you conceive. Any advice will be helpful.

I know it's hard but don't stress. I just found out I'm pregnant after 6 months of trying. I know it seems like forever but it will happen. Good luck! Also, this was my 1st month of using Vitex which is a natural supplement to regulate your cycle, and pre-seed which is a "sperm friendly" lubricant. You may want to give them a try.

It takes a young healthy couple up to 6 months, and an older couple up to a year. You just got off the pill so it takes your body a little while to get out of your system. You are doing everything right just be patient! Good Luck! Best Wishes!

Something like 70% of couples trying to get pregnant will do so within 12 months of unprotected sex. Have your cycles returned to normal since going off the pill?

WebMD says 6-12 months, but it will vary from person to person. If you are really wanting to get pregnant try a low grade fertility enhancer like ovulex, or if that doesn't work go to your doctor and talk maybe discuss something stronger. My husband and I got pregant in the third month with ovulex, try www.yourfertilitychoice.com. good luck.
