There are a lot of free scans out there that tell you you have errors that do not exist and then charge you for a programme to get rid of them! I would start by running a scan disc check and defrag. Get rid of as many programmes as you can that you don't need or use very often. Clear any pictures and documents you don't require. Then see how the computer behaves. If all this fails reinstall windows.

You go on these sites, to get what you think is a free check, they scan your machine and tell you , that you have thousands of problems, then try and sell you something to repair it. Dont worry, type in Advanced Windows care in your search box, and then download this program, which when you first run it, will also find hundres of errors, click on repairs, and watch them go. I run it once a week, its great

(1) Get you self a good antivirus or a free one .
(2) If you have not already scanned your comp with spybot do that now . (And spybot is free check the info on the links below )
(3) Do an online virus scan to check if you still have any other viruses in your computer. And let us know if the online virus scan still finds any virus or spyware .

I'm afraid that more information is needed... when do you get these problems? Are you using a particular application at the time?
