It really depends... what exactly is the signature on?

a baseball card? ... maybe 50-75 dollars, depending on year and condition. His rookie card in good condition might get $300.

A rare photograph possibly 100 dollars.

Magazine covers or newspaper articles... possibly $100.

An early baseball... $300

A high school or college yearbook, possibly $300.

Uniforms.. jersey, gloves, caps.... if they are vintage, and good condition could fetch up to $1,000. The uniforms need to be original. Recall the Koufax used to show up at sports shows during the 1970s, and sign items that were contemporary.

Original artwork, with Koufax the featured subject... $1,000 to $2,000 depending on the artist.

It would help the price if you could get a certificate of authenticity.

If you have Sandy Koufax's Autograph have it appraised but have a provenance on it how did you get it, if it was given to you by a third party did they see him sign it them you can see a price. There are allot of Lou Gehrig autographs that aren't his they were signed by his wife as souvenirs after he was to ill to sign them.

So for it to be authentic be sure it was signed in someones presence that will attest to it. Then you will get top dollar which in Koufax's case won't be too much since he's still alive and coaching in baseball.

Sandy Foufax? You mean the guy that burnt down that nuthouse in Wacktahatchee Texas in 1913? Wow! Man! Any nut worth his salt will pay big dollars for that one. Depending what he wrote it on. Probably used invisible ink.
