I want to get my bridesmaids something a bit different, but not too fussy or bling as we're not like that.

I've tried Ebay and its all nasty Chinese imports with dodgy imitation diamonds and making it ourselves is just not an option.

Why don't you try making your own? Let your creative side out and go to a bead store. Buy some wire and some lovely crystal beads and let your bridesmaids create their own jewelry (with your supervision). It's decently priced and it's something personal that each girl can have as a keepsake from your wedding.

You didn't really give us a price range.

I love jewelery that is "different" (especially minimalistic stuff). Check out our favorite store (in Scottsdale, AZ): http://www.duo-jewelry.com/. They have some steel peices to keep the prices low. I got an Abacus ring (not listed on the website) that I love and it was about $100 : http://e-taka.jp/image/Abacus2.jpg. You can get the beads in different colors/materials. You can buy this ring from Duo.

I have a great idea for you! Get them Joann Smyth's Pearl Soap. It's a bar of soap that contains real pearls. The soaps range from $20 - $40. Once the soap is used and the pearls are "released" you can send the pearls back to the store to have them made into pieces of jewelry. I got one for Christmas and I thought it was such a great idea. You can order them at the link below:

Congrats on the Wedding!!!

forever 21 has a wide range of cute jewelry that are simple yet stand out. they are also very inexpensive so it won't hurt to buy more than one for each bridesmaid.
