Becuase they're from the past - sent here on a wacky mission via a souped-up Delorean.

Or maybe they're just gullible ho-tards

I've seen many of my JW fellows (men) wearing all kind of colours. But the most often colour of their shirts is white because it best suits at a suit.
Our pamphlets, magazines and books are free. So, we don't sell them. Do some research.
And those men who wear short sleeve white dress shirts can be mormons. I saw them on the street (a street from Bucharest, Romania where I live). Two of them even knocked my door. They were Americans.

Growing up in the Witnesses, I never wore a white shirt. I like dark colors.

Yes, they dress conservatively, but that's a part of being a good example for Christ and God.

Since no one gets paid, not even the governing board, they have no need to sell anything. That's a practice of the Churches of Christendom. You can't even give them money, if you wanted to, without going to a Kingdom Hall and physically putting it in the donation box. Check the web site, try to find a link for donations. Every other church is right up front about needing money, to create new buildings, and to pay the wages of their pastors.
