These groundhogs saw their shadow, which usually means 6 more weeks of winter — Jimmy the Groundhog, Holtsville Hal, Dunkirk Dave, Sir Walter Wally
These groundhogs didn't see their shadows, so that means Early Spring — Punxsutawney Phil, Staten Island Chuck, Wiarton Willie, Shubenacadie Sam and General Beauregard Lee of Georgia, Malverne Mel, Buckeye Chuck
Most people just pay attention to Punxsatawney Phil, so that must mean an early spring.
