I'm going through some rather taumatic times right now. Details are not important. Anyway, my friend who now lives in Milan caught wind of the problems Friday. He catches the first flight he can get to California and shows up Sunday night at my house. There is, of course, nobody there, but not to be detered, he broke in and made an extra bedroom up for himself. Ignoring the alarm. In his words to the police, "F*** you. Call him. I'm not leaving". He's staying for as long as it takes. Not a bad friend.

Yes, there are a few people who would do this for me. these are the type of friends one has very seldom and are very much appreciated. if the shoe were on the other foot you would do the same for him. Friendship is a two way street
