I'd be OK with a female President, if a worthy contender came along.
Hillary? No way. She is a crook that got out of fraudulent land deals in Arkansas by paying people to go to prison for her and not testify. Oh, and her socialist healthcare plan scares all of us tax payers.

Senator Clinton certainly is qualified but she also polarizes people. Perhaps it is time for someone other than a Clinton or a Bush in the oval office. That said, I will probably vote for her in the general election as she will probably get the Democratic Party nomination and I am not to crazy right now about what the Republicans have to offer. Let's see what happens between now and the conventions next year. The currently presumed candidates may be on the outside looking in. If so it won't be the first time.

Maybe it is time to break the "male monopoly" but she isn't the woman to do it. She is too vague when confronted with policy specifics. I am not sure if she doesn't know or if she is too radical to disclose. Furthermore, she is not forthright about her past. She drafted the Whitewater contracts; how does she feel about dispossessing people who were one day late on their mortgage payments, without giving them the rights under foreclosure? Why did she order Vince Foster's office to be cleaned-out at 3 a.m. before the D.C. police arrived? Did she commit perjury when she swore she had not seen Whitwater documents? Did she obstruct justice when the very same documents were found with her fingerprints all over them?
Hillary Clinton (or Rodham) is a rotten kettle of fish. The Democrats would be wise to dismantle her campaign because she will be torn apart in a general election. Besides, her husband never won more than a plurality. Despite her public relations makeover, people outside of liberal enclaves just don't like her. She seems too desperate for power.

No I would not vote for her. Why ? Do you seriously have to ask that ? As for the male monopoly, I'm all for breaking it same as I'm for breaking the caucasian male monopoly (and I am a male caucasian/native american) but that doesn't mean we elect just anyone to filla vacant seat. The are other women far more qualified to be president before Hillary (Liddy Dole and Condolesa Rice come to mind). And as for non caucasian males how about Ward Conally (sp?) or Walter Williams.

I will not vote for hilliary because in a nut shell I think she is a moron.
I seriously don't think we should vote for a specific candidate because of their sex... I think we should vote for the person who can do the job. But I truly feel a trained monkey would do a better job than hillary clinton as president.

It's not about Male or Female, it's about who is right for the job. IF you are voting for a gender or a color then you don't know what a vote is supposed to be used for.
A vote shows confidence in a candidate to do the job and do it well.
As for an answer to your question, it is too early to tell. I haven't seen all the candidates yet.

I don't really think a person's genitalia should automatically qualify them for a position of power. If Hillary is the best candidate, then yes, I will vote for her. If there is another candidate, male or female, with a better platform and better solutions for our country's current situation than Hillary, then I will vote for him or her. I always thought it was kind of short-sighted and ignorant to vote for someone just because she's a woman, or just because they're black, or just because they're a man, or what have you. It's like voting for someone because they have better hair, or because they'd be more fun to impersonate on SNL. Not very good reasons to choose a world leader.

I will not vote for her. She changes her position everytime she opens her mouth. As an educated female I would never vote for anyone based on their sex or skin color. I will examine the qualifications and position statements of each of the candidates in the primary - and I will vote for the best person. I will do the same for the general election.
