My friend and I can't play remotely on our Wiis(Wii-to-Wii). What Should we do!!!! Please somebody help us!

My Friend and I have been trying to figure out how to play with each other on WiiSports but we can't figure out how to connect. My friend and I both have each other in our address books and we can send each other WiiMail with ease.

Wii Sports does not have online play. No Wii games will support online play until mid-2007, in fact. Below is a link to this same question, previously on Y!Answers.
