i came off the pill over a year before we actually started "trying" for a baby. It completely messed my cycle up and i now refuse to go back on the pill EVER again. I would rather stick with condoms than have my body messed up again. It took at least 12 months for my periods to settle down into a regular 35 day cycle (i used to be 30 days before i went on the pill at 16) and i didn't ovulate for at least 11 months either.
Make sure you take your pregnancy vitamins too as iron deficiency can stop you being regular. Severe anaemics can stop having periods completely!!

Coming of the pill after a long time on it can be a shock to the body and can take anything up to a year to regulate itself again

It can take time after coming off the pill... I was off the pill for over a year and never got preg... it happend after over a year and me and my partner were like RABBITS, literaly!! Try not to stress too much because this causes a stress hormone called cortisol which can make you less fertile... It's amazing how the human body works.... I added a link for you to look at..... http://news.softpedia.com/news/Low-Stress-Helps-Getting-Pregnant-27285.shtml
Hope you all the best in trying though and I hope it works for you :) Take care x

many females individuals get pregnant of their first month, others take a 365 days. once you're on a low-dose pill it is going to likely be lots swifter than in case you have been on the dep. shot. yet anybody's distinctive. I had the main solid cycles of my existence for the 1st 3 years after i finished taking Ortho TriCyclen. you will possibly desire to set your watch by the regularity of my cycles :) ultimate of success!

Dont worry!
Worring makes your periods delayed.
Its most probably nothing. When you come off the pill it can take a year for your periods to regulate again so dont worry.
Hope this helps

nothing is wrong, this is a very common reaction to taking birth control, it will take time for ur body to reajust, and as far as getting pregnant, relax child, everything happens in good time
