We may never be able to solve all the problems of the world, however much we try. But we can defenitely make an impact by changing our own attitudes, behaviour & actions.

Good interpretation of this saying, but the saying doesn't really fit the interpretation, IMO.
Saving one's feet by wearing shoes sounds like ignoring the world's problems by insulating oneself.
