that science has really answered the vast majority of "big questions" that they have in their small collective mind?

Religion is the hobgoblin of primative little minds.

I got nuthin' humorous on this, I'm afraid.

I can offer you personal anecdotes of having had some less-than-pleasant encounters with extremely aggressive Christians; to the extent that they were served with violations and had to appear in court (which they hoped to turn into a martyr-circus) where the judge explained to them the limits of freedom of speech.

Some people just prefer their answers in simplest form, black and white (no gray, thank you) with scriptural references. And they have my blessings, as long as they respect my personal space, we don't have a problem.

When it approaches harassment, that's a different story.

Looks like these topics are a bit too much for the shallow end of the Yahoo pool.

So, what's the topic for tomorrow?

Man your off base and incorrect, if nothing else science continues to confirm the existense of a higher power. Or if its easier for you an intelligent design. For me its more ...well ...naive to belive that all of this just happened, by random chance than it is to know...that a higher being was responsible for it. Now take your questions to the religion section. And relax...God loves you to.

While it may be true that science has solved a great number of mysteries about the universe, I still have yet to witness science CREATE a planet or a star.

Weelll.... my "small" mind finds comfort in God. I am not asking you to believe in God, but let me believe what I want to, will you?

Because it says in the bible that god will test us.

Or that satan planted the evidence there...

Oh, who knows really.
