I want to know exactly how google recognises my computer ip no. In case of adsense it immediately recognises the non genuine clicks by recognising the computer number. Is it on the basis of email id from the computer. Please help me in this regard

You have to remember that the first responsibility of Google is to satisfy their advertisers, where the money comes from; and not the publishers. They need to protect the interests of advertisers at all cost. As a result, any clicks perceived to be less than above-board are investigated oftentimes leading to the cancellation of the account of the advertiser.

Determining and catching fraudulent clicks in one of the most important task of Adsense as the success of the entire program depends on its integrity and reputation. If advertisers find out that Adsense publishers are cheating and generating invalid clicks, then they will stay away from Adsense and that means the death of the program for many webmasters.

Google is not saying how it catches cheaters. It could be IP and comparing it to the login IP -- nobody knows for sure. But suffice to say that their system for catching cheating is pretty sophisticated.

I suggest instead of obsessing on how Google catches cheaters, work on your site instead and build content and traffic. That way you can earn from Adsense the right way -- by getting legitimate clicks

Every time you connect to the internet you have an ip address which truly is your address on the net. Just as you have a from address to send a post card by mail, you need a from address to communicate online ( that's where your Ip address comes in). Ip address is specific to that particular computer connection at that point of time. So it has nothing to do with the email id of the user.

.

Not only google, anybody could find your ip address if you are connected to the internet.

Consider you have got an internet connection from a service provider eg. Airtel.

Try to connect the internet with another second PC as extra. You couldn't do so. Coz when you are connected to the internet, Airtel will note down your IP address and hence another system could not be connected.

every web site knows your ip address, has nothing to do with email at all.
