Don't get me wrong. Im not scared, but I get nervous, and my dumbass body just freezes up. I'm a pretty big dude (6-2) and muscular(go to the gym), but if someone wanted to fight me, I'd accept, but atill get that retarded nervous feeling, and it can be intense. It can be anyone who challenges me whether it be a smaller guy than me or even a woman! Doesn't metter who the peep is, I'd still get nervous and I know for a fact that I am stronger than that person. Someone give me some advice? If nervousness wasn't hindering me, my performance would be so much better.

It's good to feel nervous before a fight because it means you care. Others who are fearless to fight have little compassion or concerns about the world around them, which contributes to a life of misery. Why fight? I mean really, what benefit comes from fighting if not done out of self-protection or be initiated into a gang? Fighting never leads to anything positive, but is sure contributes to lots of problems, including involvement in the criminal justice system.

i'd say try to get over the need/want to fight not the nervousness. but if you must, sounds like you is just scared of getting your butt whipped(wuss). get over that, in fact embrace it. i mean after all what is the worst thing that could happen? oh yeah, skull fracture and death is the worst thing, on either you or your opponent. i go back to what i said in the first place get over the need to fight not the nervousness.

I had the same problem ! Need more self-confidence to overcome nervousness. U may think that it has nothing to do with confidence, but try to relax and be confident even while fighting, it helps a lot !!
