There is no possible way of telling how tall they will be precisely after they discontinue growing. However, giving the truth that you are quick it is a just right probability they will be shorter than normal as well. I might additionally assess the online for country wide averages on heights at exclusive a long time, to peer the place your youngsters fall. It's also tough to tell since a little one is also shorter or taller than one or both of their mum and dad. My husband, for illustration is 6' 3. Is mom is 5'1 and his father is 5'8.

Talk to their pediatrician. From the sound of it; unless there is a tall grandparent somewhere in the mix, they aren't going to be really tall. If they are abnormally small then you can get some testing done, growth plate analysis where they xray the bones of the wrist to see if everything is developing normally. They don't sound abnormally short so I wouldn't worry. Boys can grow through their late teens, girls usually stop gaining height shortly after menstruation.

I have the opposite concern for my daughter, I am 5'5" her dad is 6' 1" and she is already 5'6" at 12.

The charts are a good indication, but they are not 100% accurate. My doctor told me they could be up to a couple inches shorter or taller that the chart indicates. The height of the parents is not your only indicater. What about other relatives? If you have height in your family, it could be carried over to your children.

My husband's parents are 5' 6" and 5' 1", and all three of their sons are 5'11" to 6'0" tall.

Hope this helps.

If they're boys, they will grow and grow!! But they will stop soon after age 16 or so. I'm sure they'll pass you in height, and maybe even your husband. You can never really be certain!

The child growth charts are provided at the link below. You calculate their location on the chart, then follow the line's curve to predict their adult height. I clicked on the color.pdf for boys and girls from the list further down the page.

I would say you never know my mom is 5'3 and my dad is 5'6 and my brother was 5'5 until he was 18 and then he shot up a few more inches, he is now 5'9. So its doesnt just depend on you and your husband, it is past genes also. They will keep growing for a while still!

they used to say that if you double their age at two it will predict height. If you know this then you can do it. Chances are they will be at least your husbands height. But you are not tall people so don't expect giants, just be happy that they are healthy.
