bringing flowers for her mom is a brilliant idea and a bottle of johnny is a nice touch for the dad. she's not just saying that, those are nice gifts. i had one relative who just came back from the states and i noticed that many of my local relatives liked t-shirts or anything that came from the US. perhaps t-shirts that say NY or USA would be nice too.

Giving Flowers is a very nice idea. Borderline on the "Liquor". I know a lot of Filipinos would appreciate receiving a bottle of liquor but not from their daughter's date. (or fiance for that matter). Especiall a NO on the picture album.

There are still a lot who are conservative. You don't want them to start thinking what you guys have been doing together while you are still dating!

Two more tips, learn how to bless (tradional way of showing respect), take off your shoes as you walk in their home, and be respectful!!! They will know that you trying to embrace the culture. Good luck!

The answer suggesting photos is good, but don't overdo it. They are maybe expecting a bit of pasalubong (small gift) Rather than the bottle, ask your gf if they smoke, and get a carton of Marlboros that always goes over big here.

That would go down well. May I also suggest a bottle of light wine for the ladies.

Those are nice tokens.

Please bring along pictures of you and your fiancee, the place where you live in, pictures of your country. The family will love to hear about it.

Have a good dinner, and a good time!
