Something no bigger than Bestbuy, but not with such an extensive database. Simple design with minimal flash, and some database work... Per hour???? per site? could I have some examples?

That's a great question! As i'm sure you're aware, database-driven websites are normally priced based on the features you need placed into the website. This can range anywhere from thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars.

I strongly suggest contacting a web design and development company that will have a consultation with you to determine the needs of your website. Once this has been determined, you will need them to create a Site Plan (Also referred to as a Project Scope), that details every click and feature of the website. This way, you can ensure you know what you're getting and what you're not getting. (This is always a problem in the web industry)

Most companies will charge for a custom site plan as it usually takes 1 - 3 weeks to write and can be anywhere from 5 - 100 pages based on the complexity of your website.

You can think of it this way . . . if you were having a house built from scratch, wouldn't you be concerned if there were no blueprints for the contractor to use?

I would expect to pay $500 - $2,000 for a site plan. For you, this is probably an unexpected expense, however, even if you don't use the company that created the site plan to develop your site, you can take the site plan with you for another company to use as a guideline to build your site. This is a small price to pay to ensure you're site is built correctly . . . the first time.

Mail to info@aryansstudios.com with your requirements for a free consultancy.

The cost depends upon the objective / type of website that controls other technical things as well.

Will you make your home yourself even if you have tools available freely? Hire a professional when you want professional output!
