Sirs,

I would like to buy the property at 234 Elm, in Hometown, USA. I am willing to pay $___________ in cash for the property.

Enclosed is a photocopy of the cashier's check for the full amount. I can close as soon as title is cleared.

I can be reached 24 hours per day at 123-234-4567

Thank you,

I know people who work in this industry and they are not always very responsive. I suggest you find the phone number and call them. Sometimes on their web site, you will be able to locate the name of the REO manager.

No such animal as a canned letter for that. I really do suggest that you simply show up at your local lenders' business and ask to speak to their OREO department nothing better than one on one, a letter is going to go into file 13
