I have seen a house that I like, but it is empty. How do I find out who owns it?

Your county assessor will have the owners name and address. Some counties have this information online, others you have to go to the court house and ask. But it's public information so anyone can ask for the information.

You will need the street address to find the information.

get the address and go to your county's appraisal website. It will tell you all the info about the house, like the value, previous owners, and problems with the land.
