I can't tell you on a preference basis, I can tell you this.

I have an '07 TC, and I love it.

Best car I ever had, fun, refined, and for the money a tremendous value.

I'm considering buying a second one to replace our other car.

SCION!! you will not be disappointed. Had the same dilema and choose the scion and I love my car and the new family of friends that comes along with it.
