Dumb and Dumber because it was not only Jim Carrey but Jeff Daniels as well and i thought their onscreen chemistry was great and the movie was probably the funniest movie ever made, or at least that i've seen. I've seen it like 50 times at least and it never gets old and every time i watch it, i notice something new, like the "John Deere" letter instead of "Dear John" and "farver" beans in the Lecter comment. Plus it has the best lines, "nice set of hooters you got there" (the OWLS), and the breed of dog that you get when you mate a bulldog and a Shi Tsu :p. My favorite part is when Lloyd was planning out all these romantic things to say to Mary, but when she comes in he freaks and can only blurt out "I desperately want to make love to a schoolboy!" :p . Classic. Kind of makes me miss the classic Carrey, though, because he went on to Dramas and is now going to be in a thriller (which is hard for me to imagine, but i'll definitely go see it anyway. Should be interesting), but he's a great actor and i'm sure he could do just about anything, just like Jeff Daniels and Johnny Depp. And i'm sure i'll still like all of his movies, but Dumb and Dumber will always be my favorite

I don't really have a fave- they're all brilliant. I have to say, Liar Liar cracks me up every time because of the sheer frustration and the outtakes at the end are SO funny. Both Ace Venturas have me laughing like mad too- he's just so wacky in them. It does depend on how much I want to laugh at the time, but I'll watch whichever 1 suits the occasion

ace ventura 2 was fantastic. very rarely does a sequel better the original, but having said that i think the "truman show" has been his finest hour. that film had everything, comedy, sadness, despair, warmth and what we can do to each other for entertainment i.e the 2 security guards looking to find what was on another channel as soon as the carrey character left the scene ?

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is just awesome, but Man on the Moon is amazing too.

I like the more controlled/serious Jim than crazy/stupid Jim. But if I were going to the wilder ones, I like Cable Guy because its kind of dark and weird.

Man, that's a hard question, I love them all. But I would have to say Liar Liar, just because its SOOOOO funny. He tries and tries, but he just can't lie. Then when he wants to get out the trail, he goes and beats himself up. I love it.

I am nervous about seeing him in that new movie 23. Its hard to see Jim Carrey, in a non funny role.

Lemony Snicket's a Series of Unfortunate Events. It's his most versatile performance, he's such a meannie to the Baudelaire orphans.

The Truman Show or Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Minds because it shows a much more serious side of his acting.

Either the first Ace Ventura or The Mask. I saw them both when I was young, and I loved his energy and zaniness he put into the characters. He just let loose, said outlandish things, and was very physical.

My favourite would have to be liar liar just because of the sheer frustration he shows from not being able to lie, cracks me up. Did you know he was in Earth girls are easy too, I like that film.
