No, I could name five off the top of my head that were a lot worse:

XL..Steelers 21 - Seahawks 10...Awful ref job, blah performance on both sides of the ball by both teams
XXXVII: Buccaneers 48 - Raiders 21...Don't be fooled by the score, it was much worse than it looked
XXXV: Ravens 34 - Giants 7...Collins 4 INT's...worst QB performance ever (in my opinion)
XXXIII: Broncos 34 - Falcons 19...Did anyone really think the Falcons would win this one?
XXVII: Cowboys 52 - Bills 17...nothing needs to be said here

And that's just going back to the 1990s...I didn't even name 49ers/Broncos, Bears/Patriots, Redskins/Broncos, etc...so I think Super Bowl XLI was not bad at all

Well I personally have seen worse. The Bears did not play well at all but at least the game was fairly competitive throughout, and the trophy went to the better team. Besides you have to allow for some sloppy play when the weather was as bad as it was for this game.

The worst super bowl in my opinion was Super Bowl XL, where the game was essentially decided by the officials in that any one of the Seahawks' pass completions that were called back (on very questionable fouls) could have drastically changed the game's outcome. One of them erased a touchdown, another erased a completion that would have put them in easy field goal range at worst. Factoring in those points, if the score had been 21-20 instead of 21-10 in the 4th quarter things may have played out a lot differently. I felt that the officials were very one sided and that completely invalidated the game for me. Had the Steelers won the trophy themselves in that game it would have been OK.

Other Super Bowls I enjoyed LESS than this one were:

Super Bowl XXXV in which the Ravens "D" gutted the Giants in a 34-7 game that should have been a shutout, save one good kickoff return by New York in the 3rd quarter.

Super Bowl XXXVII in which the Buccaneers demolished the Raiders 48-21. This game was never competitive -- most of the Raiders' points came in the 4th quarter after the game had long been decided.

Super Bowl XXVII in which the Cowboys humiliated the Buffalo Bills 52-17; Buffalo may as well have not even showed up for the game.

I don't agree. For me, the worst Super Bowl is any where the game is TOTALLY one-sided. That was not the case last night.

I totally disagree....as super bowls go, this was one of the best. Most super bowls are very 1 sided and get boring by the end of the game....this one stayed pretty close until the fourth quarter.

No this wasn't the worst. I remember some of those Buffalo and Minnesota disasters. The real Superbowl this year was Indy vs. New England. Now that had everything a viewer would want.

I'm sure it was great if you were a Colts fan. But for me it was a pretty boring game, especially the second half. As badly as the Colts dominated the game the score could have been much much worse.

I do! not even one bit interesting. The first half was all right but from then, the game became the like the Ohio State vs. Florida game

I've seen worst, like Oakland vs. Tampa bay

wasn't bad. hadn't seen a SB in years where weather played such a factor. I imagine people hated the old "Ice Bowl" years ago right afterward but its now viewed as "classic".
