I am trying to get some opinions on being a realtor? I am looking into Realtor school and want to know the cons and pros of being a realtor? Is it a good career? I am an army wife that moves around a lot, but they have a company that helps military spouses. It's called Operation Remax? Anyone heard of it? Realtors are welcome to elaborate on their career. Thanks.

I think that being a realtor -- a licensed real estate broker -- is a good career choice. You have to like the work, though. It is very people oriented and you never can tell what the next person walking through the door is going to be like.
Like any other profession, being successful at real estate sales takes work, especially paperwork. If you're willing to work hard, follow up contacts, and deal with the full range of people, then being a realtor may suit you.
