The min you can have is 40 cards.
The max you can have is 80 cards.
The max you can have in you're side deck is 15.
But remember the lest cards you have in you'er deck the more likely you're draw trat powerfull card you need to win the game.

40 cards are the minimum that you can have in your MAIN DECK. Try to keep it on a 1:1 basis ( 1 monster per 1 spell/trap card). You can have as many cards as you like, but the more cards in your deck...the fewer chances that you will draw the cards you need. My son has a main deck of 40 cards, 6 cards in his Fusion Deck, and around 10-15 cards in his Side Deck.

It depends on what kind of deck you run. As you may or may not know, the standard minimum is forty. Most duelists hover around that number, since logically, the closer you are to forty, the better chance you have of drawing the cards that you need.
Aside from that, my deck is at around 43-45 cards.

You should always have a equal or a little higher than 40, maximum should be like 55. Anything higher than that, and you'll never get any strategy going.

as you see you shuold tell me your cards and 52 would be in your deck and unlimited in your truck becuase you can always change cards!
