Well if you're referring to montains then...
The world's largest monolith, Mount Augustus, is located in Western Australia. At 2,228 metres (7,310 ft), Mount Kosciuszko on the Great Dividing Range is the highest mountain on the Australian mainland, although Mawson Peak on the remote Australian territory of Heard Island is taller at 2,745 metres (9,006 ft).

If you want to know the highest mountEN as you stated I have no idea.

Mount Kosciuszko, Australia

Note: Many people place Australia in "Oceania" and by that definition Carstensz Pyramid (4,884 metres/16,502 feet) on Indonesia is the highest. However I am following a strict definition that places Indonesia in Asia. Mount Kosciuszko is the highest mountain in Australia, although by world standards its just a bit of bump in the Great Dividing Range.

Australia has no 'real' mountains like you see in Switzerland, New Zealand or Colorado. Australia is so old all the spectacular, craggy alps were eroded down to small bumps long ago.

Mt Kosciousco is the highest (located near the border of New South Wales and Victoria), then Mt. Townsend (I'm buggered if I know where the hell that is!)
