Okay, here's what you do. (Know that I'm going from memory and haven't played this in months.)
There's this one trash compactor you have to go through to get to this other area, through which you access a tunnel with bluish light where you can use Force Push or Pull to move this trash thing on it's track, after which you go into the bluish tunnel from the other end (you've probably found it already, it's off one of the rooms off the main area) and Force Push it out of the way. From there it should be more or less obvious. If you need something more carefully made go to gamefaqs.com.
