Another 100 billion to IRAQ and another 145 Bill the next year... and oh yeah... it cut 80 Billion out of Medicare... Nothing like financing the war on the back of the elderly and the disabled... to show how the Republicans really care for you... but that's OK they want to give you a break on your taxes so you can buy your own medical insurance. Listen to the analists on CNN, it's hocus pocus and doesn't benefit anybody but the rich who thrive on exemptions. It's a sad commentary on the philosophy of the country... I got mine and I got yours too... So what are your thoughts Mr and Mrs Republican??? Is this what you want for America and your children. A future where they are strapped with national debt, fighting for other peoples freedom, and reduced or no healthcare when they get back. The future of your children is to be enslaved paying off your debts. Ready to change parties yet. It really makes you think, and if it doesn't you must be in the top 1 percent or just selfish.

Insane!

I support our troops, but I don't support our efforts in Iraq! With that being said I believe the troops there in Iraq should be given the proper equipment and protection they need to survive this mess our "fearless leader" has got these troops into.

What ever it takes to keep our troops safe, however, every dam cent needs to be accounted for.

Funny how he's asking for billions to aid the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, however, he's cut money to the Veteran Affairs -forcing the closing of VA hospitals all over, limiting the number of staff to work the remaining VA hospitals, oh and not to mention, if you are a Veteran who didn't actively serve in a war zone ( in garrison taking care of the military spouses oconus) you don't qualify for immediate VA assistance! - So you tell me, do you think he really cares about our troops fighting over there!

I don't think that the billions he's asking for will go to the troops, the reality is, it never has, its probably going to bribe neighboring countries for his and his administrations political agenda.

Bush has never used his veto stamp on any pork spending bills that came across his desk since he has been in office.

President Clinton vetoed nearly 100 spending bills.

Is there any wonder we had a budget surplus under Clinton and a record deficit under Bush?
