Once you get all 60 poes all you get is just unlimited rupees when you go back to talk to him so its pointless really. But yeh once you got the twenty poes go to his house (to get to his house start at telmas and work your way north and take the first left (wii) then look to the right and keep walking until you see a square area filled with cats turn into a wolf use your sense and you'll see a place where you can dig into his house. Jovani gives you a bottle filled with fairy tears (fairy tears replenish your health fully and make your attack stronger for a limited time) you also get to keep the bottle after you've used it.

I've played Zelda. Once you have the 20 souls, you need to get into his house to give them to him. The way in is in the yard where all of the cats are, in castle town. Turn into the wolf, hit "sense", and you will see a patch by the wall where you can dig your way in. In the yard, you can talk to all of the cats, too, when you are the wolf.
PS - once you give him the 20, you get a reward, but he then wants 60, after which I presume I'll get another reward.
