I'm from Italy and I'm 22 years old. By the end of february 2007 I'll graduate in philosophy. I'd like to know what kind of oppurtunities I could find in the UK. What should I do to find a house and a job. Is it possible to me, as Italian citizen, to move to the UK without problems?

Cant see any problems in you moving to the UK, or in finding a job (eventually), but you cant just get on a flight and arrive and that's it job done!
As some one has already mentioned you will need cash, you need friends in the UK , you will need to budget for about 3 months of living in the UK while you look for a job.
I haven't got a clue what a graduate in philosophy would actually do for a living any where in the world, but you could start by getting on the net now an register with any 'UK job search' just type that into your search engine , also try 'total jobs' I'm getting 3 or 4 jobs a week coming in from that group, you can use that as a start just to check out if there are any jobs suitable for your field of work, you can do that from where you are now, I think that could be a good point to start from and not just arrive with a little suitcase and hope some thing turns up, to register with thee agencies will cost you nothing, you will need to send them a CV, they will circulate this and then you just wait.
Accomodation should be no problem, you just need the money to pay for it!
Good luck in your search.

You could search for jobs on some of the major job websites like Hotjobs,Monster, Careerbuilder and post your resume on these job boards. You can also search for jobs and post your resume on Craigslist. More information available at
