The huge dome, on the basis of the dome of St. Peter's in Rome, stands apart above all other Washington buildings. Like Washington it self, the building has developed through the years considering that the main section was built between 1793 and 1812. The last addition, in 1958-62, enlarged the key façade wherever presidents take the oath. On one other area, a marble terrace presents beautiful opinions on the mall and the city. The inside is resplendent with frescoes, reliefs, and paintings, especially the rotunda underneath the good cast-iron dome with a ceiling painting by Constantino Brumidi and large paintings of moments from American history on the walls.

Well, now that you mention it, NO. But then again, I look a lot like my avatar, which looks nothing like Denzel! Ha ha! I am often told I look like Amy from Bosom Buddies - if you're old enough to remember that sitcom! It had Tom Hanks in it.
