Man is a sexual being. That is our nature. Of course, unlike the animal, we are exalted by being able to change and rationalize our nature. So other reasons why people have sex include:
1. Physical pleasure. It just feels so good.
2. To fit in with society. In most cultures, sex is a basic coming of age ritual.
3. To the person they're having sex with. Some people find it hard to enjoy sex, but they do it for their partners.
4. It's healthy. Sex is good physical exercise and orgasms release all kinds of pleasure chemicals and hormones that help keep our bodies and brain in balance.
5. They associate sex with power. These are your rapist and pedophiles who commit sex crimes because of the high they get off of domination.
6. Money. Prostitutes make a living off sex, and so do women who only look to marry rich.

Like a lot of things, different people have sex for different reasons. People have sex because it feels good, people have sex because they want to have children, people have sex because it makes up for what they lack, etc.

When people marry they have sex to populate and have children to enjoy when they get older. Man and Man or Woman and Woman can't populate without the other. If you have sex have it with the one you love and marry or else its a waste. GOD Bless.

when two people are really attracted to each other they want to be close to each other. Everyone wants to feel wanted and needed. We as human need the human connection.
