getting most stain´s out of carpet´s can be hard , first try with a little white wine pour a little on to the stain them blot with kitchen roll. normally this work´s when you spill red wine the white wine lift´s it out . then with some of your own hair shampoo and a sponge wipe over , do not use a hard scrubbing brush as you will break the fibber´s in the carpet . if the stain lift´s out , put a towel on top where the stain has been , and a heavy object on top as this will lift out any remaining water from under the surface, you might have to wash again as eventually the water from the underside of the carpet always reaches the surface hope this help´s a little

Dont scrub your carpet as you are only pushing the staint further into the carpet. You should have put an absobent cloth folded and press into the stain to try and soak it up. There is a tube of fantastic stuff called DI DI Seven, if ur in the UK try all the shopping channels on satelite TV. I think you can use oxyclean but you will have to check on label. What u do is mix up DI DI Seven or oxyclean with warm water, put it into a spray bottle, spray over the stain and with a suitable folded cloth dab over the stain, dont rub it in. Hope I have helped. Still worth a try contacting SAT TV channels and ask them.

First, make sure you have a Wet/Dry vac. NEVER< EVER use washing up liquid, contains glycerine (its kind to your hands) leaves a film on the carpet. Get the VAX carpet shampoo concentrate, mix some as per the instuctions. Add 20% or so Ammonia, (Boots the Chemist) scrub carpet with this (well ventilated, rubber gloves on) then rinse well, using the wet vac to draw the dirty water (and stain) out.

A product called Goo Gone. We use it on carpet stains at the hotel I work at. It works wonders.

Vanish carpet mousse is very good. You may need a couple of applications though. Available in supermarkets

try trouble shooter 1001. just spray on the stain and dab with the kitchen towel. do not scrub on the stain. when it dries up then vaccum that part. just spray on the affected part.

Might not work now that you've scrubbed it, but you could try club soda, or soda water! It worked on my red wine stain.
