Barack Obama has my vote. I would really love him and Hillary to be on the Ballot together. I'm really not concerned with the drug use at. I don't know many people that didn't experiement one time or another. The fact that he came to realize that it wasn't for him is what impressed me. And yes, because he's black, I will be voting for him. While this isn't my only reason, its right up there in the top ten reasons I will vote for him. What folx don't understand about that is this...We have very few examples of what a strong black man is supposed to be. Obama embodies every quality of this. White suburbia pays more attention to what 50 Cent has to say than any black spokesperson we've had. Even though I like 50...he's really not doing or saying anything to help US (Black People) as a community. So yes, as a community we put Mr Obama on a pedestal. A pedastal that is well deserved. I've montiored his Senate Seat in Chicago for a while now. He's done a lot of good while in Senate. I mean a whole lot of good. His ideals are good ones. Now when we're talking about experience, how much does Hillary really have? I don't think anybody can do a worse job than Bush. He has singlehandley driven this countries economy in to the ground. I think I was doing better ten years ago than I am now. Its a shame when Middle Class becomes damn near poverty level.

He does have charisma but once past the fluff is there any substance to Barack Obama. He has had very little federal experience. Perhaps if he is Vice President for 8 years than he can run on his own. He would have both charisma and experience and wow would that be great.

So yes I would vote for him but not now for reasons stated above. I'll wait until later.

I won't vote for a candidate based on charisma, personality, popularity, etc. He or she has to offer solid solutions to the issues that concern me. If Barack Obama proves himself to be that person between now and Nov. 2008, then he'll get my vote. That's a long way off and a lot can happen between now and then so don't count my vote just yet. : )

Yes....I'll vote for him. Its time to bring the country back to the middle. The past eight years has been polarizing for this country. From the Lewinsky years of the Clinton administration to this current debacle known as the Bush admin. there hasn't been a voice for the middle. Mr. Obama seems to represent very basic and fundamental American values. Its time to heal and move forward as a better America. It will be my honor to VOTE OBAMA '08!!!

Barack Obama is an interesting candidate who speaks well but I dislike his voting record in that his is smaller than the other candidates. I wish he would have considered waiting until the next term before running.

I think Obama is very intelligent and would be an excellent president. However, I've got to figure out who will be the best chance at winning against the Republican nominee. I will vote for that candidate because it's so important that we put some sanity back into America!

I would not support him as President due to his political experience. I would support him as Vice President to give him time too learn the ropes, then I would support him for President.

No. He's too inexperienced. We don't need another Jimmy Carter experience. I'm also very uncomfortable with his admitted hard drug use in his early 20s.

All he really seems to have going for him is that he's new to the political scene, he's a smooth orator and he's black. That's not enough to build a national candidacy on. I agree with a later comment--the Clinton machine is going to tear him down. He'll be lucky to be reelected for Senate when they finish digging up all his dirt.

If you are a die hard liberal and support his policies, by all means vote for him. If you're voting for him because he's black, you're an idiot. Oh, and Barak Obama is rated as a 95% liberal. Again, if you think Ted Kennedy is usually right, this is the person for you to vote for. Make an informed decision and skip all the junk about packaging. Please!

I think he is just a poster boy with no real stance on the issues. He answers questions according to what he thinks his audience wants to hear.
