Yes and no... 28 years is a long time, and a lot of healing must be done befor ehe is ready. I wasn't really ready until 5 years after a 2.5 year relationship...beware if you are that person as he will go through the rebound phase.

Know her better and this time be carefull. Dont commit the same mistake again. Give yourself more time. If you think you can survive a few problems together then only consider moving deeper.
