Seriously, what is the point? They will never drop their irrational hate of life, never get past their bigotry, never get past their paranoia, never get past their jealousy of intellectuals, never get past their irrational beliefs in fundamental religion. They will also never get past their childish name-calling behaviour. Why do you waste your time? Have you ever, even once, seen a die-hard right winger change their minds on something significant?

I stopped trying years ago. I just give back what they like to hand out. It's fun to watch them cry when they are on the other end.

And the left is just so open and above reproach, right?

Good God generalizations make me SICK.

Irrational hate of life? Nice try, but I'm a pretty happy person. Life is what you make it.

Bigotry? I keep being accused of this by idiots on YA, but I dare anyone to find a "bigoted" statement I've ever made. Pig.

Paranoia? Yeah - we're paranoid. That's why we're the one's whining about showing IDs to vote. Of course, we prefer *live* voters...

Jealouy of intellectuals? Oh, man - I'm still wiping the tears away after that one. I work with academics, and most of them, God bless 'em, have absolutely ZERO common sense. If the **** hits the fan, I don't think I'd have much use for an intellectual - sure, they can tell you *why* they think things happened, but can they *live* by their wits and their hands? I doubt it - most of the men I work with - and I *do* love them dearly - have even less mechanical knowledge than I do. Jealous? Hardly.

Irrational beliefs in fundamental religion - Well, like *most* Americans, I *do* have my beliefs. I am a non-practcing Christian. Does that mean I'm fundamental? Why does the left insist on diversity and tolerance, then turn around and rip up over 80% of their neighbors because those neighbors don't toe the leftist party line when it comes to religion?

Shhhhh - don't tell, but I've even met a few liberal who go to church. Scandalous, I know - but it's their *right* you self-righteous ninny.

Have a nice day, hypocrite!

Oh, and Timothy, you need to read up on your own party. Foley at least went away - Democrats *re-elected* a known pedophile. Gerry Studds - look it up.

I don't, I get several e-mails from just such people, I either just delete them or let them have it and then do not respond to any more of them. So much hate mail infact that it turns me off to their concept of what they think is right for America even more. In answer to your last added details, not they will never change their mind on anything, but if a liberal does then they are a flip flopper, go figure.

What you just said is hypocricy. Conservatives have childish, name-calling behavior? You are saying Liberals can't have a rational conversation with Conservatives, but you turn right around and call them Right wing nutjobs. In order to have a rational conversation with a Conservative, you have to be rational.

Funny, you're the one who seems to be the bigot (politically) and who's full of hate and paranoia. And you seem to be the one calling people names childishly (Nutjobs). You really shouldn't cast stones when you're easily as guilty as the people you're demonizing. Now why don't you go rethink your self-righteous tirade and apologize to everyone for wasting their time?

Oh, and by the way, I'm not a conservative, nor am I a republican.

Over the years I have changed the opinion of several die hard cons.

I keep hoping that they might read my post at a moment when their terror and hate drops momentarily, and they can recognize reality.

Well, I am a "right-wing nutjob", and I feel I can handle myself in any debate without resorting to name-calling.

And I base my positions on facts, reason, and logic. I have indeed changed my positions on various things as I have pondered them. But it wasn't due to anything someone such as yourself has said.

It was based on an inner dialogue. A self-assessment. I do not just take things as they are given me.

I hope this helps, and I hope you have a wonderful day. Cheers, mate.

i guess having a stance on a subject means nothing to you wishy washy libs...."i voted for it before i voted against it"...or something to that flip flopping effect...... the real difference is that most libs let their minds and thoughts on subjects be controlled and manipulated by the press, politicians and pundits without bothering to read up on or study the real nuts and bolts of a situation..from all sides, then making up their mind.....you hear too many libs saying exactly the same thing..as if they are programmed to repeat their mantra....

I have yet to hear a rational conversation from the left, so why should someone from the right take their ideas seriously.... If you want to see "irrational hate",read your own bigoted question...
