I had a pain like that years ago and took over the counter pain pills after a while because it got worse and worse over time. I was working 2 jobs 7 days per week and didn't think I had time to go see a doctor.
Then it went to my back (started out in front on the Right side) came and went, the back pain was on the same side kinda nagging ache not sudden pain like the side pain (although I had like you in the beginning)
Needless to say, One day I couldn't get out of bed. I dragged myself to a phone, called DR went in and turned out it was Kidney infection. (the pain was so intense) at that point he sent me to the hospital to be checked for stones. Dr told me that had i waited a day or 2, I would have been dead!
To this day I drink a lot of water to keep my kidneys flushed because once you have an infection like that, you are more suseptable to a recurring one. (didn't have stones though)
You might want to drop by the Doctor's office. A urine test and general examination (the Dr knows where the pain is) will detect it. The exam was not real painful - just one second, so don't worry. Doc gave me -sulfa/antibiotic and Motrin and it went away. He also told me to drink a lot of water. Sulfa druggs can leave a sediment in your kidneys and cause more troubble so you have to keep the kidneys flushed. Might be something else too. Get checked out. Dont wait a month like I did.

I have a pain also; my roomate. Seriously though, your problem could just be a little gas; try some rolaids. From where you describe the pain is, I dont think its your appendix. If it lasts for more than 2 days, I would get it checked out unless the pain is really that bad.

It's in the area of your appendix by the sound of it. Get it checked by your Doctor, could be grumbling appendix but not necessarily. If the pain was higher up just under your ribs then it could be gall stones but this is all guess work. Play safe and see your Doctor. It might just be 'stitch', muscle pain.

i'm 50, and while that occurs my wellness consultant has me take Ibuprofen (my prescription soreness killer won't even artwork reason that's a distinctive variety of soreness) & prepare progesterone cream (in a distinctive spot every time) from the wellness nutrition keep as quickly as an afternoon till my pass stops. The ibuprofen stops the soreness, the progesterone fixes the concern for the subsequent time around, for me a minimum of.

Sweetie, it could be trapped wind, if this is the case, softly massage your tummy, & use a hot water bottle to help ease the pain. If it doesn't help, get yourself down to a doctors, just incase it's your appendix. xxx
