Hi,folks,
If, in the not too distant future, scientists came up with a ground breaking cure for tiredness,so that you never needed to sleep again,(and with no side-effects),would you take it?
(Bed manufacturers need not answer).
I'm off to beddy-byes now.....nighty night......yawn...

Is it fairly safe to agree that we all love diving into a freshly laundered comfy bed after a hot soak too much to ever give it up,then? (Into someone elses' warm comfy arms, the better....)

no i love sleeping and dreaming, and just that good feeling you get when you wake up and you are all warm and cosy and you can just lay there, too good to give up

No because sleeping isn't just about overcoming tiredness. Sleep is the time your brain processes and stores information from your desktop to your hard-drive.

If you like, we can call it defragmenting in computer terms. There have been multiple studies that prove conclusively that no matter what the 'cure', no sleep will drive you insane!

No, I love to sleep as well.....what I would take though would be a pill that stopped you being tired when you're awake! I constantly feel like I dont have enough sleep, when actually I get at least 7-8 most nights....!

Since we spend 1/3 of our life asleep I would consider it. But there nothing like a good nights rest. Night!

No, u may be asleep, but ur brain is still awake; sleeping helps your brain to process what happend during the day. If this is taken away from u, ull go mad.
