Cotton sheets with a high thread count feel almost like silk, but the cotton breaths better.

I prefer satin or silk sheets but cotton pillow cases (b/c the other slide too much).

I've tried both. Silk gets kinda warm and sticks to you when you sweat. Cotton is best, at least 400 thread count (Mine are 1000)

Depends on the occasion - silk to set a romantic/sexy mood. Cotton to sleep in.

silk feels nice to begin with, but can get "sweaty" I prefer 550tc Egyptian Cotton

I have a set of 800 thread count egytian cotton sheets..and they are AMAZING! Cotton all the way!
